The interesting part is that these towns are not all drinking the same water: some buy it wholesale from Oklahoma City, some run their own supply, and plenty of the properties out past the mains are on a well. Morgantown and the towns packed in around it — Westover, Star City, Granville, Cheat Lake — plus the farms and hollows out toward the Pennsylvania line. Inside the city most homes are on the Morgantown Utility Board. Get a few miles out and you are on a well, and the two need completely different treatment.
